A new call for applications for the young researchers‘ programme Emerging Talents Initiative (ETI) has just started – the deadline is 4th March. The initiative is open to all young researchers from FAU up to six years after their doctoral degree who neither have a habilitation nor completed an intermediary evaluation for a junior professorship.
This programme supports young FAU researchers by supporting them to apply to an external funding provider within the funding period (12 months), for example the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) or the European Research Council (ERC). The maximum amount of funding is 15,000 euros. Within this budget, postdoctoral researchers may apply for any measures required to prepare their application for third-party funding, such as staff costs, consumables or travel expenses. Funded researchers are also offered supporting measures, such as mentoring, courses on how to apply for funding, and a young researchers’ network. ETI particularly supports first-time applicants and female candidates.
All information and application documents can be found on the ETI website
